All of the license plates are Arabic; Arab billionaires like to spend their summers' in England in order to avoid the intense heat and fly their super cars over in private planes. Even though these cars can easily reach speeds of over 200 mph, many end up being driven in first gear due to gridlock traffic.

London cops are a bit annoyed by the cars since their traffic scanners can't decipher Arabic license plates As a result, it's rather difficult for the cops to issue tickets to drivers when they break traffic laws. However, that doesn't mean that they don't get pulled over. There are lots of videos on Youtube that show some of these exotic cars getting clamped with a boot, getting towed and pulled over.

So who do these cars belong to? Some are businessmen while others are members of various royal families. The majority of cars are from the UAE and a Qatar while a few are from other Middle Eastern countries including Iraq.

Some residents of the upscale Knightsbridge area have complained about the constant noise of these super cars which go on until the wee morning hours.
